1 cup all purpose flour
pinch of salt
1/3 cup warm water
1 tsp instant yeast
1 tsp granulated sugar
2 tsp vegetable oil
2-3 cup of oil for frying.
Procedure:
1. Into warm water add sugar and instant yeast stir until the mixture gets foamy.
2. Combine all purpose flour and salt. Add in the yeast mixture. Mix and then, add the oil and start kneading the dough for about 2 minutes.
3. Form the dough into a ball and put it in a greased mixing bowl cover it with plastic wrap or saran wrap. Put it in a warm place until it doubled in size.
4. Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 pcs, form each divided dough into a ball and cover it to prevent from drying.
5. Using a rolling pin flatten each dough and fry it in a hot oil until its golden brown.
6. Serve it with a cinnamon sugar or drizzle it with caramel sauce and enjoy.
TIPS: if you find your dough dry add 1/2 a tsp of water.
